And then there was silence, as love’s walls formed around us,
And we were barricaded henceforth from all of life’s worries.
There’s no need to hurry, my dear, dear Tahlia, for even if
All of this can stop in an instant, we have the moment beside us,
And that’s more than enough for me; yes, look into my eyes,
Then try telling me that you are not content with the present
Situation of us lying under crimson star-fire and with our hopes
Higher than the moon’s glow could ever wish to possibly go…

Hold me close, and don’t skip a beat with our hearts entwined,
For I’d like to taste this slice of paradise just a little longer…
You are surely the dew sent from Heaven’s clouds, and I now
Vow to never taint the rain for its color reminds me of your eyes:
I look deep and hard into them, and I see reason for life to exist;
I feel the warmth of the glistening Sun, and a persistence to
Never give in to the temptation of darkness and sin’s reach
(So now I beseech you to be the muse for my reality’s poetry)…

Oh, Tahlia, the symbol of everything I hold as beauteous and pure,
Won’t you let me shout your name aloud and love you forever more?
Oh, Tahlia, as we wonder and wander through all of chance’s scenes,
Won’t you let me experience true satisfaction in memories so serene?

Until the next time we meet in dreams…

Inspired by a longing for romance, and living the dreams that gleam upon my existence...

This is the newest addition to my "Named Intent" collection.

Beautifully breathtaking as always. Two hearts intwined, beating in perfect synch, breathing in perfect rythym. Fingers locked together, with the warmth of love...
Excellent work, Daniel! [as always:heart:]

But the greatest of these is love...

Can you love as HE loves?

A tremendous piece, particularly love the opening line...Not soppy or embarrassing but strongly masculine and romantic. Really great work :D

A heart at the end of its' tether
Swiftly descending into blame,
Pain lasts only a minute,
Resounds through generations forever;
The aftermath, it spells my name.

speechless within each line... grabbed gently and taken in by the "hold me close" stanza... is it love you speak of within these words? :butterfly:

I always seem late to comment on your beautiful words, cause everyone says it for me :)
